Austin, TX – June 15, 2015 – FCS Computer Systems (FCS), a leading comprehensive hospitality solutions and services provider, is set to provide visitors to this year’s HITEC with an automated cleaning and inspection assignment system for guest rooms and other public areas under housekeeping operation. Taking place at the Austin Convention Center on June 15-18th, FCS Computer Systems will be showcasing its solutions at booth #357, with industry experts available to provide details on its comprehensive line of services, including e-Housekeeping and m-Housekeeping.
A web-based backend system designed with state of the art logic-based rules and conditions, FCS e-Housekeeping provides room status updates to staff via mobile devices and allocates cleaning/inspection assignments to the most relevant attendant/supervisor for the job. Together with the FCS m-Housekeeping mobile app, room attendants and supervisors can maintain accurate room status information and manage daily duties on the go, eliminating tons of paper waste by circumventing the endless process of printing room and guest information.
Room attendants can post linen/amenity/mini-bar consumption updates, as well as engineering defects, and clean up a room according to VIP preferences or the hotel’s standard cleaning guidelines. Supervisors can view the status of separate floors and rooms in real-time, and track progress under different room attendants.
FCS e-Housekeeping supports multiple languages and multiple properties. Management can see an overview on room discrepancy, room status and linen consumption via the e-Housekeeping dashboard, as well as roster management, inventory forecast, queue room by type or number and more. With FCS e-Housekeeping, managers and supervisors can track progress with room, inspection, and productivity matrix.
“Hotels using e-Housekeeping and m-Housekeeping are able to integrate guestroom cleaning and inspection with automated assignments, job dispatch and comprehensive reporting all in the palm of your hand,” said Akina Ho, Vice President of Strategy and Global Business Development at FCS. “Implementing e-Housekeeping and m-Housekeeping allows housekeeping staff, supervisors, and management to unified and increase productivity with features such as allowing room attendants to view vital information such as room cleaning guidelines and room status, minimizing housekeeping training time and costs.”
The system is one of five departmental applications included in FCS e-Solution Platform, a comprehensive tool that allows hotels to efficiently manage more responsibilities with fewer resources and also includes e-Connect, e-Recovery, e-Engineering and e-Concierge.
Hotel housekeeping responsibilities can quickly add up, often evolving into a situation that is increasingly difficult to navigate for both attendants and their managers. With FCS Housekeeping, hoteliers can rest assured in their ability to always deliver only the best in service and guest satisfaction. An industry leading platform renowned for streamlining the housekeeping management process, FCS Housekeeping works to ensure that tasks are always delivered to the right team member at the right time.Learn More
