GDX Voice System is one of the industry-renowned communication and voice messaging system designed for hotels and resorts. The next-generation communications architecture developed by FCS for GDX Voice System supports PABX systems with SIP protocol, as well as other legacy systems utilising voice card only. The new SIP technology ensures all guest messages are handled securely, efficiently and completely. All guest messages are dynamically maintained and stored in a dedicated server in soft-code versions - so important messages can be archived for easy retrieval where necessary.

GDX Voice System – VoiceMail : Personalised Guest Voice Messaging

VoiceMail is a powerful voice messaging system. It automatically integrates and works seamlessly with all hotel PABX and PMS systems available worldwide. VoiceMail handles all unanswered incoming calls, message recording and retrieval, easily and effectively. The benefits of VoiceMail for hotels:

  • Personal voice mailbox is automatically created upon guest check-in.
  • Allows guest to personalise welcome or greeting messages; self-manage mailbox such as delete, undelete, skip, fast forward and backward.
  • Automatic transfer or deletion of mailbox to new room upon guest room changes or check out.
  • Enables in-room retrieval of guest messages using the room phone, or remotely by calling into the hotel, using a secured access PIN number.
  • Guest can set personal speed dial numbers, as well as voice dial.
  • Guest voice mailboxes are automatically archived for a specified time frame before they are deleted from the system.
  • Enables setting of group voice messages or announcements.
  • Sends new guest messages to PABX system, which automatically lights up the message-waiting light of the guest’s room phone.
  • Allows express messaging, where guests or hotel staff can compose voice messages, and deliver them to specific mailboxes without actually calling in.

GDX Voice System – AutoWakeup : Waking Up Your Guest Can Never Been Easier

AutoWakeup is a voice announcement system that automates and manages the hotel’s guest wake-up call services – featuring a rigid management capability, and comprehensive reporting, to ensure effective management of the wake-up call service and cater to more general guest requirements, individually and as a group. The benefits of AutoWakeup for hotels:

  • Allows users to set individual or group wakeup calls.
  • Guests can set multiple wake-up calls within a 24-hour period, via their room phones.
  • Automatic prompting to re-deliver call services (the user defines the number of attempts) if not answered by the guest.
  • Guests can set a snooze option.
  • Monitor responses to all wake-up calls set.
  • Audit trail reports to support service management.
  • Support for:

GDX Voice System – MiniBar : Convenient & Accurate Way to Update Minibar Usage

MiniBar allows hotel to use the existing telephones to post mini-bar consumption charges thus capturing revenue from the guest. The information will be posted to the hotel’s system and captured in guest folio. It also helps the hotel to keep track of the item used and replace the stock in the room immediately. Not only is this a convenient time saving feature for the hotel, it also ensures accuracy of items posted and minimizes valuable time to update the guest folios instantaneously.   • Real-time posting and update of mini-bar items on the guest folio.

GDX Voice System - Room Status : Enhancing Hotel Efficiency

Room Status is an interactive voice response system that enhances the efficiency of hotel operations by enhancing the flow of information between housekeeping, engineering, and the PMS system. With Room Status, housekeeping can use existing telephones and ID information to post room status information and maintenance requests. Once posted, front desk staff will know the room’s availability immediately, and whether it is ready to be allocated to the new guest. The benefits of Room Status for hotels:
